Environmental Performance Reporting

A typical monthly report covering the methane emissions, VOCs, and HAPs eliminated by a QuickSet™ gas-lift control system.

Through its standard-equipped measurement and telemetry system, QuickSet provides operators with automated reporting that quantifies methane emissions mitigated, while also calculating the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) prevented from entering the atmosphere.

These reports provide a valuable tool for operators to document the carbon footprint reductions pertaining to each well.

Emissions data collected by QuickSet skids in the Permian show that on average, .025 MMSCFD of methane is emitted for each .500 MMSCFD of gas injected, equal to 5% of injection volumes.

A single well in the Permian (using traditional gas lift) can emit as much as 9.125 MMSCFD of methane gas per year, while also releasing 140 tons-per-year of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and 8 tons-per-year of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs).
